JAN 13 One and a half hour of decanting. Deep ruby, garnet rim. Plums and blueberries, like an en primeur sample still. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, very shut down and needs hours of decanting or ten years plus in the cellar. Very long finish. 93

APR 14 Ruby, some sediments. cassis, blueberries, slight mineral note, hint of leather on the nose. Anise. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, rounded, slightly edgy far back still, needs an hour in decanter, rounds off but ever so slightly raw in the finish to be picky, long. Give it two more years. 91

OCT 11 Ruby. Pure dark fruity nose, some vanilla and spices, liquorice. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, dark fruity, blueberries, some vanilla, touch of coffee, long. 92

JUN 11 Ruby, tender somehow, and still intensely pure of red berries. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, balance is perfection, a Burgundian Bordeaux, refined and layered, long length. A wine of tremendous pleasure. 93

MAY 13 Deep ruby. Slightly scented, fruity nose, some plums and ripe blueberries, ever so slightly mineral. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, refreshing, quite elegant and lovely balance. Needs a few more years in the cellar to round off a bit more, quite long. 90

AUG 19 Ruby, thin garnet rim. Anise, blueberries and some dates, minerals and faintly scented. Surprisingly fat nose for a 2004. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, anise, blueberries and spices, fresh, anise, red fruity, dark berries, long. 92

JUL 17 Bright ruby, garnet rim. Earthy, minerals, figs and raspberries nose. Medicinal. Fresh acidity, some tannins still, touch meaty, some minerals, some dried fruits, anise, bit lean and dry finish. 89
