elegant nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, Pauillac texture, long length, and
quite sexy. Probably the best Duhart-Milon ever. I have found the slightly
boring if correct, and uninspiring before, this one isn't. 92-94

youthful, barrel spices and pure cassis. With air, more open, scented, cassis,
leather, fruity, maturing nicely. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, intense,
structured, bit rough and edgy still, needs a good ten years still. Long. 92

DEC 18 Ruby, garnet rim.
Cassis, leather, starting figs and dates behind, fairly scented and fairly
intense, and on the more transparent side for Pauillac, on the nose. Fresh
acidity, ripe tannins, cool mid palate showing herbs, paprika and blackcurrants
before a more leathery, figs and blackcurrants finish. It is on the more
rustic, flavour wise, side with a smoother texture altogether. This will
be too lean for some. Long. 91

DEC 10 Bright ruby, thin orange rim.
Green tea, hint of cigars, prunes and raisins, not very intense. OK acidity,
tannins gone, slightly towards metal, lean body and short finish. 81
