APR 13 Ruby. Slightly floral, a touch herbal but elegant nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fresh palate, lovely texture, a bit easy going. 89-91

DEC 14 Rubinrød. Intens, cassis, noe tobakk, parfymert, tight duft. Frisk syre, modne tanniner, fruktig, røde bær, avrundet, relativt leken men kunne hatt litt mer detaljer, lang. 2020-2030 93

2010 Château Duhart-Milon

JUN 11 Deep ruby, floral, cassis, elegant nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, Pauillac texture, long length, and quite sexy. Probably the best Duhart-Milon ever. I have found the slightly boring if correct, and uninspiring before, this one isn't. 92-94

AUG 11 Deep ruby, floral, slightly rustic, either as a style or just at this phase. Fresh acidity, some green touches, ripe tannins, good length. 88

2005 Château Duhart- Milon

OCT 12 Deep ruby. Cassis, some chocolate, tobacco and blueberries. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, quite refreshing and somewhat edgy now that will polish of in another few years. Good length. 91

JUN 16 Ruby. Scented, cassis, vanilla, spices, blackberries, tobacco. Fruity behind the structure. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, cassis, fruity, tobacco, dark fruits, still structured, quite elegant fruit, somewhat firm finish. 92

2003 Château Duhart-Milon

FEB 15 Ruby. Starting out extremely youthful, barrel spices and pure cassis. With air, more open, scented, cassis, leather, fruity, maturing nicely. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, intense, structured, bit rough and edgy still, needs a good ten years still. Long. 92

1996 Château Duhart-Milon

DEC 18 Ruby, garnet rim. Cassis, leather, starting figs and dates behind, fairly scented and fairly intense, and on the more transparent side for Pauillac, on the nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, cool mid palate showing herbs, paprika and blackcurrants before a more leathery, figs and blackcurrants finish. It is on the more rustic, flavour wise, side with a smoother texture altogether. This will be too lean for some. Long. 91

1978 Château Duhart-Milon-Rothschild

DEC 10 Bright ruby, thin orange rim. Green tea, hint of cigars, prunes and raisins, not very intense. OK acidity, tannins gone, slightly towards metal, lean body and short finish. 81
