JAN 10A level fill, cork soaked and
could be pushed in the neck. Bright ruby with brown-orange rim, violets, dried
fruits, some tobacco and blackcurrants, dust and cellar, a bit too far, ok
intensity, cherrystones, sour finish, dies of in the glass. 83
1969 Chateau Boyd-Cantenac
JAN 10 Fill A/B-level, deep ruby
with orange rim, a bit earthy, rotten wood and bark, some cassis and coffee
behind, even with that description, seems quite vital. OK acidity, mature
tannins, a bit lean body, some iodine and metallic, but then ads with some
prunes, clings to its life, but doing it gracefully, way better than any
expectation. 81
