AUG 14 Ruby, garnet rim. Tired bottle, cooked fruit, flat and gone. some said corked, not so sure. Broadbent has never been enthusiastic, Rene Gabriel a bit more but both describe a lean 1985. I have had a clean bottle with charm even if not great, but it was longer ago than I remember, nearly ten years back. Jeff Leve more positive in 2013 but drink now.

SEP 07 Cloudy brick colour, low mid shoulder fill. Some violets, light delicate liquorice and leather note, faint figs and dates, transparent and graceful, not very intense nose. Fresh acidity, lean almost, sweet and sour with some sweet raisins mid palate, tannins gone, velvety and gentle, minerals, narrower finish. Lovely experience. 94
