DEC 15 Ruby. Light scented note, cassis and herbs nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fresh, fruity if leaner. Give it 30 minutes in decanter. 85

DEC 14 Pale lemon yellow. Some grapefruits, gooseberries and vanilla notes, ligh minerals nose. Fresh acidity, fruity, rounded, leaner, fresh. 86

NOV 15 Ruby. Cassis, vanilla, spices, fruity. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fresh, leaner, light herbal note, elegant. 86

MAR 15 Rubinrød. Solbær, fruktig, røde bær, noe vanilje. Frisk syre, modne tanniner, fruktig, blåbær, lakristoner, spicy finish. 85

MAR 16 Ruby. Cassis, some vanilla, and darker fruits nose, blueberries. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, dark berries, lighter palate, good length. 87

2009 Château Mercier Cuvée Prestige

SEP 13 Ruby. Fruity, some dark berries, hint of spices and vanilla, slightly scented nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, bit lean and something unripe and raw lurking in the back, needs time but I'm not quite sure it will be polished of. Good length. 12% Malbec in the blend, which gives some of the dustiness. Kind of cocoa bitterness in the finish. Feels cool and even so it's ripe at 14,5%. 86

2008 Château Mercier Cuvée Prestige

DEC 15 Ruby. Cassis, bell peppers, spices and dark fruits nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, fresh, leaner palate, some figs notes with air. Decant it for an hour. 87

2007 Château Mercier Cuvée Prestige

SEP 13 Ruby. Red berries, some vanilla, blueberries, touch of coffee on the nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, leaner body, again that slight rawness, leaner finish, good length. 84

2005 Château Mercier

APR 11 Ruby, ruby rim, dark berries, floral, perfumed, and alcoholic touch. Fresh acidity, ripe and high tannins, slightly watery finish. 85

1998 Château Mercier
MAR 12 Ruby, garnet rim. Fruity and simple nose. Good enough acidity, tannins gone, figs and plums in the finish. Easygoing. 81
