AUG 12 Dark ruby. When opened, raw, brutal and in teenage wrath. Ungainly and difficult to enjoy. The next day, it settled down, just a bit of the vintage herbs, cool feel overshadowing the minerals, slightly unripe blackcurrant's. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, a bit hollow mid palate, good length. 86

SEP 13 Deep ruby. Fruity, scented, elegant, floral and nuanced nose, minerals, deep. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, minerals almost as backbone, has a nerve, somewhat lean finish, a bit of the vintage roughness still. Long. 90
