MAR 19 Pale lemon yellow. Apples, grapefruits, some spices and vanilla nose. Fresh acidity, fruity, apples, some lemons, elegant texture, touch bitter. 87-89

APR 18 Ruby. Blackberries, blueberries, anise and spices nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, dark berries, anise, juicy, elegant. 88-90

APR 18 Pale lemon yellow. Apples, citrus, minerals, detailed, grapefruits nose. Fresh acidity, fruity, softer, apples, some minerals, gentle, good length. Bit tropical finish. 86-88

2016 Château Brown
APR 16 Ruby. Ruby, fruity, anise and vanilla nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, dark berries, some anise, leaner finish. 87-89

APR 13 Deep ruby. Bell peppers, spices and cassis nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity if leaner style, good length. 87-89

APR 13 Pale lemon yellow. Fruity, grapefruit and melon nose. Fresh acidity, elegant and lively, refreshing if not too complex. 86-88

2010 Château Brown blanc
NOV 12 Pale golden. Fresh lemon and grapefruit nose with some vanilla and minerals. Fresh acidity, lively and elegant and nice length. I first visited Château Brown two years ago after tasting the wines primeur. This is typical white Pessac in a fresh style for a very competitive price.

FEB 19 Ruby, garnet rim. Figs, dates, light minerals and leather nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, anise, figs and dates, leaner bodied, drink soon. 85
