APR 17 Ruby. Vanilla, spices, liquorice, coffee, blackberries nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, juicy, woody even if not as overwhelmingly so as the nose, good length. 88-90

2015 Château d'Arcins

APR 16 Ruby. Spicy, dark berries, woody nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fresh, fruity, structured, long. 89-91

2014 Château d'Arcins

APR 15 Ruby. Dark fruits, spices, cassis, vanilla. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, lovely dark fruits, bit leaner finish. 84-86

2011 Château d'Arcins

SEP 15 Ruby. Dark fruits, ripe nose, chocolate, vanilla and spices, jammy. Light floral note on top. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, juicy, ripe, intense, sweet, maybe too sweet for me, and to much oak, but it balances it somehow, borderline. 88

2011 Château d'Arcins

MAY 15 Ruby. Spicy, dark fruits and coffee nose. Fruity, dark berries, fairly fresh acidity but made to a recopy. 86

2010 Château d'Arcins

APR 18 Magnum. Ruby, garnet rim. Red berries, figs, some leather nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, figs and red fruity, surprisingly mature for its age and bottle size. 86

2009 Château d'Arcins

SEP 15 Ruby. Light cassis, herbs and spices nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, sweet and herbal notes mixed. 85
