Château Bergat



Former Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé. Last vintage was 2011, now part of Château Trotte Vieille. Production was around 12.000 bottles per year.

2011 Château Bergat
APR 12 Ruby. Red berries, some spices, floral touch nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fresh and fruity. 89

2007 Château Bergat
MAR 13 Ruby. Dark fruits, light floral note and some vanilla on the nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, rounded, elegant, pure feel to it. 89

2007 Château Bergat
MAY 11 Ruby, closed and gives little on the nose. Fresh acidity, elegant style and ripe tannins, pure, long length. 89

1998 Château Bergat
DEC 09 Bright ruby, some sediments. Fruit driven St-Emilion, cassis, black- and blueberries, cigar and some chocolate. Acidity just makes it, ripe tannins, some cherries and red plums, could have longer finish.
