MAY 12 Very top shoulder, ruby with garnet rim. Fresh fruit, cassis and bell pepper. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, what a surprise, by far the best Maucaillou I've tasted, fresh and lively, lovely balance, this is easygoing, mature Bordeaux at its best. 87
