 2020 Sauternes 

Sauternes 2020 has a lovely pure fruit but they do lack some acidity and complexity in general.

APR 21 Golden. Peach, pineapples, light vanilla note nose, fruit driven. Fresh acidity, pears, peach, fruit driven if lighter, elegant spiciness in the finish. Long. 90-92

2020 Château d’Arche Cuvée Arche Lafaurie creme de tête

APR 21 Golden. Pineapples, apricots, fruit driven nose, some exotic spices on the nose. Fresh acidity, smooth, fruit driven, rounded, elegant texture, detailed, long. Lacks a little bit of lift to be picky. 92-94

2020 Château d’Arche Bordeaux blanc sec

APR 21 Pale lemon yellow. Apples, gooseberries, fruit driven nose if lighter. Fresh acidity, apples, rounded, elegant texture, bit short. 86-88

Watery pink. Light nose of red berries, faintly floral. Fresh acidity, apples, light of red fruits, elegant texture. 83

MAY 21 Pale golden. Apples, peach, fruit driven, some pineapples nose. Fresh acidity, apples, candied lemons, peach and pears, some exotic spices, good length. 88-90

MAY 21 Pale straw yellow. Light peach and grapefruits nose, faintly smoky. Fresh acidity, light bodied, easy going, fairly smooth. 86-88

MAY 21 Pale lemon yellow. Pears, peach, lighter nose, fruit driven. Fresh acidity, light bodied, rounded, good length. 87-89

APR 21 Golden. Peach, pears, fruit driven, some vanilla and spices nose. Fresh acidity, peach, apples, pineapples, detailed and intense, long. A lovely Broustet! 89-91

2020 Château Caillou

APR 21 Golden. Pears, peach, fruit driven nose, some vanilla. Fresh acidity, peach, fruit driven, some anise, detailed, long finish. 90-92

2020 Château Cantegril

MAY 21 Golden. Peach, apricots and vanilla nose, spices, a bit subdued. Fresh acidity, pure, rounded and caressing, super smooth texture, very elegant and charming, long. 89-91

2020 Clos Haut-Peyraguey

APR 21 Pale golden. Peach, apricots, some vanilla, fruit driven nose. Fresh acidity, pears, peach, fruit driven and layered, elegant texture, detailed, long. Smooth. 91-93

2020 Château Coutet

APR 21 Golden. Peach, fruit driven, nuanced, detailed nose, some vanilla and pineapples. Fresh acidity, peach, fruit driven, smooth and rounded, elegant texture, almost creamy yet with energy to it. Long. 93-95

APR 21 Pale golden. Pears, peach, fruit driven nose, intense. Fresh acidity, fruit driven, anise, pineapples detailed, nuanced, touch of honey, creamy and long. 93-95

APR 21 Golden. Pears, peach, fruit driven nose, some vanilla, lighter nose. Fresh acidity, lovely balance, creamy, detailed, smooth, some anise, pineapples, detailed, ling. 92-94

APR 21 Pale golden. Peach, apricots, lighter nose, some vanilla. Fresh acidity, apples, lemons, some citrus, almost creamy, good length. 88-90

2020 Château Filhot

APR 21 Golden. Peach, fruit driven, vanilla and spices nose, somewhat lighter. Fresh acidity, peach and pears, fruit driven, more intensity than usual for Filhot, long finish. 90-92

2020 Château Guiraud

APR 21 Golden. Apricots, pears, fruit driven, some vanilla nose, quite tight. Fresh acidity, fruit driven, quite lush and rounded, detailed, intense, elegant texture, long finish. 93-95

APR 21 Golden. Peach, fruit driven, pineapples nose, some vanilla. Fresh acidity, peach, apples, rounded, good length. 88-90

APR 21 Golden. Peach, pineapples, light nose, leaner. Fresh acidity, peach, pineapples, sugary, fairly nuanced, long finish. 89-91

APR 21 Pale golden. Light nose, pears and peach. Fresh acidity, light bodied, easy going. 85-87

APR 21 Golden. Peach, pears, fruit driven, some vanilla and pineapples nose. Fresh acidity, peach, fruit driven, some anise, pineapples, nuanced, long finish. 90-92
