DEC 18 Ruby. Red berries, anise, blueberries, spices, vanilla, tighter nose, but fairly intense. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, red berries, anise, fruity, blackberries, long. Quite intense and dense. Drink from 2028 and over the next fifteen years after that. 91

JUN 15 Ruby. Scented, dark fruity nose, tight. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, blueberries, cassis and vanilla, some spices, Merlot seems to  be sticking its head out at this stage, really blueberries. Long. 90

APR 11 An estate I'm not that familiar with, this one on the lean and classic side, nice texture, fresh acidity, ripe tannins and good length. 87

2006 Château Gloria

DEC 18 Ruby. Blueberries, anise, spices, cassis, some violets behind, elegant nose, just starting to show a faint whiff of tobacco and fine leather, quite intense. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, blueberries, spices, anise, cassis, rounded fruit and body with some texture behind, long. I would wait another year or two for the texture to get a bit more rounded (this got two hours in decanter) and then drink over the next fifteen years. Long. 91

2005 Château Gloria

OCT 12 Deep ruby. Somewhat scented behind cassis, blueberries and vanilla. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, elegant fruit. A bit easy going, good length. 89

1985 Château Gloria
SEP 10 A level fill, ruby with thin orange rim. Herbal, vegetal, more rustic nose, blackcurrant leafs. Good acidity, ripe tannins, elegant redcurrants and a touch of cherries and blackberries. More elegant palate than nose, very good length. 89
