APR 19 Ruby. Dark fruity, anise, blueberries, rich and dense nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, dark fruity, spices, juicy, rounded and elegant, long. 89-91

2018 Muse du Val
OCT 19 Not yet blended so just, a fifty fifty M and CF blend done at the estate for me to taste, and if this is the finished wine, it is gorgeous! 92-93 points potential. Brighter and far more expressive than I remember the Primeur sample.

2018 Château Muse du Val
APR 19 Ruby. Anise, dark fruity, spices, liquorice, vanilla, faint thyme note nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, dark fruity, blueberries, spices, anise, liquorice, detailed, good length. 88-90

2018 Rose du Val
OCT 19 Watery salmon. Apples, lighter nose, some red fruits. Fresh acidity, quite some structure for a light rosé, good length. 83

2018 Margo Cuvée de Coeur
OCT 19 100 CF, amphora, no sulphur. Ruby. Scented, dark fruity, some spices, blackberries and some violets nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, anise, dark fruity, blueberries, juicy, long. 90

2017 Château Petit Val
OCT 19 80 percent lost to frost. Only 9310 bottles made. Ruby. Blueberries, some herbs, anise, some spices nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, leaner, red berries, some spices, dark fruits, leaner almonds! finish. 89

2016 Chateau Petit Val
OCT 19 Ruby. Scented, dark fruity, spices, blueberries, richer nose, nuanced. Tobacco, chocolate and mint. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, anise, dark fruity, blueberries and spices, juicy and nuanced, long. Alcohol is high but so much interesting stuff going on in this one. Minerals, tobacco and layers of dark fruit. Long. 92

2016 Muse du Val
OCT 19 Ruby. Scented, dark fruity, blackberries and spices, rich and nuanced nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, dark fruity, anise, spices, blueberries, juicy yet minerals, long. Fascinating finish. Both intense yet transparent. 93

2015 Chateau Petit Val
OCT 19 Ruby. Blackberries, anise, some spices, blueberries, light scented note nose, floral elements. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, anise, dark fruity, juicy, touch of mint, blueberries, long finish. 90

2015 Muse du Val
OCT 19 Ruby. Chocolate, blackberries, some anise, dark fruity, light tobacco note nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, anise, juicy, dark fruity, fairly playful, elegant, long, layered and deeper. Alcohol shows a bit. 92

2014 Château Petit Val
OCT 19 Ruby. Chocolate, dark fruity, blueberries and spices nose, minerals. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, anise, dark fruity, blueberries and spices, liquorice, good length. Rounded body for the vintage. 89

2014 Muse du Val
OCT 19 Ruby, blueberries, some tobacco, faint chocolate and cigars, blackberries and figs nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, anise, dark fruity, some spices, blueberries, juicy with minerals, long. 90
